Charity work has always been a priority for us. Before the conception of Dumagat Freedive, we dabbled on the idea of a wish-granting organization where people could elect and others could sponsor wishes from disadvantaged children. The wish could be something as simple as experiencing opening a gift on Christmas day. While a noteworthy idea, it was not a sustainable one. We are hoping that through freediving, we can do better.
We are always looking for ways to help the impoverished young children in the area. There will be no direct involvement of money in the process. Until a more beneficial approach is determined, we are giving out school and hygiene supplies – toothbrushes, toothpaste, notebooks, pens, crayons, and coloring books. Whether it’s providing educational opportunities or supplying basic needs, we aim to continually learn and understand their needs so that we can improve and sustain the ways we help. A portion of your course fee goes to help fund these efforts.
