Slyly turning tech divers and scuba instructors into freedivers one unsuspecting individual at a time. This time it’s Manu. 🤫
A few personal bests today, but Callum certainly wins the best overall. As the old saying goes… the best freediver is the one having the most fun.
When it comes to freediving, SAFE is SEXY. Get your formal freediving course on.
40.9 meters (134 feet)! Congratulations, Laura! Quite possibly the deepest recorded dive on a single breath in Dauin! Any deeper and she would have hit her head on the bottom. Now celebrate we must!
And I say to the mango, “So… do you workout?”
I’d say they’re gettin’ jiggy wit’ it. What do you think?
Another solid performance during an #SSI Level 1 freediving course with Vendicks bagging a breath hold of nearly 3 minutes, diving consistently to 20 meters (66 feet), and cruising through the academics and the rest like a rockstar! Congratulations, Vendicks!
On occasion, we take mouth-fill training seriously, very seriously.
One of the residents of the new front yard.
Suna showing us how to do a beautiful dive to 25 meters. Looking good aside, did you know that with proper technique comes depth and distance? Getting certified remains, without question, the safest, fastest and coolest way to achieve that goal.
Freediving rule #7: I don’t always do yoga; but when I do, I make sure I look good doing it.
Generally, we don’t exhale underwater. Except when blowing bubble rings.
Meet Pablo. Pablo has taken a formal freediving course. Pablo is a safe, skilled and responsible freediver. Pablo is cool. Be like Pablo.
… because anyone can be cool, but being kickass takes practice.
Just as awesome, now in Dauin! And it opens soon enough so get in touch!
Deep muck diving with the pros. Some say no thanks to tanks. I always say yes please and ask when. Scuba divers may not go as deep & be as sexy as freedivers, but I think they are pretty darn awesome too.
No fins practice with Callum during an SSI Level 2 certification course. Constant Weight No Fins (CNF) is considered to be the most challenging depth discipline. It can also be one of the most fun because of the freedom it allows the freediver.
Hats off to Laura for diving to 37 meters (121 feet) on a single breath today! A true watergirl. Just 3 more seconds of freefall before the proper celebration!
How to get your kids to eat vegetables.
Must be getting close to unicorn land. Have a beautiful day, peeps!
Ooops! I just farted. Did you know that according to Boyle’s law, the volume of gas will increase as the pressure decreases? As a properly trained freediver, you should know that the pressure at 10m is 2 bars or 2 ATA. Do you then know what happens to an average smelly fart of 100ml when it breaks the surface from a depth of 10m?
Another solid rescue exercise today; this time from 15 meters with Anjo doing the rescue and Uzzy being the always willing rescuee.
